THE FIRST DINNER PARTY IS 70% BOOKED 🥳
Remember that dinner club poll from a few weeks back? You spoke, and we listened — 95% of you were in, so we got to work. Everything is set, and we're so excited to finally share the details with you. This will be a night to remember!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
First, you fill out a short (and surprisingly fun) quiz on our website.
It asks about your dinner preferences and personality style. Are you hoping to meet new friends, build professional connections, or simply enjoy great conversation? What are you comfortable spending on the evening?
It takes just a few minutes.
Then you reserve your seat for $15.
From there, we handle everything.
We match you with a small group of like-minded locals and book a reservation at a surprise restaurant somewhere in Litchfield. A place chosen intentionally. A place that feels special.
A few days before dinner, you’ll receive a simple email or text with all the details — where to go, what time to arrive, and what to expect.
Then the fun begins.
You walk in.
You give your name.
You’re shown to your table.
Six seats.
A warm room.
A flicker of candlelight.
And a group of people you likely never would have met otherwise — yet somehow, it already feels easy.
Conversation flows. Glasses clink. Laughter builds naturally. You find yourself leaning in, staying longer than expected, forgetting to check your phone.
This isn’t just dinner. It’s shared stories, surprising connections, and that rare feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be on a given night.
And when dinner winds down, the night doesn’t end.
We’ll guide everyone to a nearby bar for an optional after-dinner drink—cocktail or mocktail, your choice—so the energy shifts from seated conversation to a relaxed celebration.
You head home with new numbers in your phone, new stories in your pocket, and the quiet realization that your community just got a little bigger.
Seats are filling quickly. So grab yours today.
PRESIDENT’S DAY FACT

North Street
Speaking of Presidents’ Day, did you know President Washington once slept at a tavern right here in Litchfield?
In September of 1780, during the height of the Revolutionary War, George Washington traveled through Litchfield County on his way between Hartford and New York.
Rather than staying in a private home, Washington often chose public taverns. They were neutral ground, open to travelers, merchants, militia officers, and townspeople alike.
One of those stops was Sheldon's Tavern, built in 1760 on North Street. And it’s still there today.
Local tradition holds that he spent the night there, in what is said to be the northeast bedroom.
Imagine it.
Hooves striking dirt and stone.
Lantern light flickering in the windows.
Militia officers gathered around rough wooden tables.
The future first President of the United States slept under that very roof.
At the time, Litchfield was not a quiet rural town. It was a political and legal center. Just a few years later, the Litchfield Law School would open and help shape early American leadership.
