My View Today

The reports were true, and a mighty blizzard fell upon us. And while the shoveling isn’t the best, the kids are loving it. This is the deepest snow they’ve seen in Litchfield in AGES, making for some epic snowangels. This will be one they remember for a long time. But as for me, it’s back to shoveling and gathering firewood. Have fun and stay safe!

SNOW DAY

Today we woke up to a revolution of snow,

its white flag waving over everything,

the landscape vanished,

not a single mouse to punctuate the blankness,

and beyond these windows…
