My View Today
As I sit here in my office, I can't help but remember one of my favorite poems by Robert Frost, which I've attached below. I'll also include a picture here of my view today. It's one of those perfectly snowy days when the white clings to the trees, adding extra dimensions to a typically brown January treeline. The river below hisses with a bit of snowmelt. I can't help but keep the window open to hear it, despite the chilly breeze slipping in. What's it like where you are? Send us a little note or maybe a poem, and we'd be happy to share it with our readers next time, so we can catch a glimpse of what makes winter special for you. See you soon.

ROBERT FROST
The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

FEATURING: KID’S FIND ART

Kid’s Find Art is an adorable little art studio right in the center of Bantam. We've been taking our two children there for the past few years, and they feel right at home because the owner, Kristie Matuszewski, is not only a talented artist but a warm and patient teacher with so much to share. If your kids could use a little more crafting, painting, or just more time using their hands, this is the spot for them. They will listen to music from around the world as Ms. Kristie takes them on an encouraging journey through multiple media, all designed to let them express themselves in fun new ways. They will not want to leave! If you’re in the area, stop by today or click this link to learn more.
The Ledger Dinner Club
The results are in…

This will be fun
We had an OVERWHELMING positive response to a dinner club of some kind here in Litchfield. This could be a great chance for everyone to meet and make a few new friends, all while enjoying some of the best restaurants CT has to offer. If you haven't had a chance to vote yet, I’ll reattach the poll. After we can make some plans!
